Pets Are Welcome
We welcome you and your four-legged friend to East Harbour Motel! We hope your stay with us is a wonderful and memorable experience. Please follow the rules and guidelines outlined below. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in your being asked to remove your dog from the property.
Our Pet Policy
All dogs must be registered with the Property Manager upon check-in.
We require all dogs to be on a leash when outside of your cottage.
Our pet fee is $35 per day / per dog, in addition to the room rate. This is a fee, not a deposit. A credit card must be kept on file with the Property Manager.
Dogs may be left unattended in the cottage. If your pet has an issue or disturbs other guests, you will be contacted and asked to return to your cottage.
You are responsible for any damage to the cottage or grounds that is created by your dog.
Please clean up after your dog. There are trash barrels available at the front of the property for ‘doggy bag’ disposal. Additionally, there is another disposal receptacle when coming off the beach.
Service Animals – there is no change for Service Animals. Service Animals must be registered with the Property Manager. Service Animals must be with the owner at all times to qualify as a Service Animal per State and Federal Regulations.
Provincetown Pet Information:
Dog Fancy Magazine named Provincetown America’s most dog friendly town, for good reason. Ptown loves all dogs – ours and our visitors, and treats them well with lots of love! Most shops, galleries, restaurants (with outdoor areas) and some boat charters welcome well behaved dogs at the business owners discretion. Almost all businesses offer treats for lucky doggies or provide a cool drink of water.
Provincetown has a wonderful dog park - Pilgrim Bark Park - Bark Park is located at the intersection of Rt 6 and Shank Painter Road in Provincetown. Parking and main entrance access from Route 6 going East.
Many restaurants that have outdoor seating will allow you to bring your dog. Many of the stores in town are pet friendly so feel free to bring your dog as you stroll through town.
All of the Provincetown and National Seashore Beaches allow dogs. There are even “Off Leash” hours. Guidelines and hours are posted at all of the beaches.
